The NSW government warn against the use of Ozone Generators.

An ozone generator is a device designed to produce the gas ozone. Ozone is used effectively in water purification, but ozone in air must reach high levels to remove air pollutants.

Health experts warn that it is important to control conditions to ensure that no person or pet becomes exposed to high levels of ozone. Ozone also masks the odour of some pollutants by impairing a person's sense of smell.

XT 1000 Ozone Generator

The XT series of ozone generators feature a patented method of creating nitric oxide free ozone by corona discharge known as Xetin ozone. These units can be used to either purify the air or to give high ozone "shock treatments" to areas contaminated by odors, mould, or bacteria.

The function button is used to toggle the selection. Setting the OZONE LEVEL sets the overall ozone output level from 1 to 10. This will set the number of seconds (2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, or 60) per minute.
