Is that house protected against termites?

How do you know if a house is protected from termites?
Installation of a durable notice in prominent locations (usually an electric box) is required under Australian Standard 3660.1 - 2014 Termite Management - Building Code of Australia (BCA).
New homes must have some form of management to deter subterranean termite attack and there are many different methods available on the market.
A certificate of Installation or Treatment should be issued by the Pest Management company. If you don’t have a copy you should be able to obtain a copy form that company, as they are required to keep this on record.
